It's never easy to narrow down the many extraordinary individuals in our Out & Proud community — but each year, we rise to the challenge.
OutSFL is proud to present the 2025 South Florida Out & Proud List, honoring a bold, brilliant, and inspiring group of changemakers.
This year’s list features people like Brock Boyd, the president of the Bears of South Florida; Teresa Albernas, a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with Be Fehr Counseling and Mayfaire Medical; Adrianna Tender, a transgender activist and advocate; and Erika Norell, a drag superstar who always gives back. Each one of these individuals are living authentically and making waves in their own unique way.
They come from all walks of life. Some are fighting for LGBTQIA+ rights, while others are breaking ground in business, the arts, healthcare, public service, and beyond. What they all have in common is a fierce commitment to showing up, speaking out, and pushing forward — for themselves, for our community, and for the generations watching.
Being Out & Proud is more than a label. It’s an act of visibility, resilience, and power. And these individuals embody that spirit every day.
I hope their stories move you as much as they’ve moved me.
Welcome to the 2025 Out & Proud List — a celebration of leaders, organizers, visionaries, and everyday heroes who remind us that we are not only present — we are powerful.
