J Wolf Lenore is descended from a noble line of entertainers and community volunteers. His mother, Velvet Lenore, is the reigning Mizz Out South Florida 2025. Not surprisingly, he was one of her backup dancers in the talent portion of the pageant.
“I have nothing but love and admiration for her. She is a treasure,” he said. Speaking of treasures, his grandmother is none other than female illusionist extraordinaire and LGBTQ activist Melissa St. John.
Lenore describes himself as introverted and very shy. However, once he takes the stage, all eyes are upon him and he shines.
“Dance has been my lifesaver, my medicine. The applause I receive makes me feel worthy,” he said.
A dancer and choreographer, Lenore is an instructor at the Royal Peacock Studio in Fort Lauderdale. His dance repertoire ranges from Latin jazz to hip-hop. He also teaches movement for the elderly and those recovering from injury.
Lenore was won the title of Mr. Palm Beach Pride 2025 as part of the pageant. He volunteers for numerous charities, including the Compass Community Center in Lake Worth Beach, Florida. He also supports a needy family in his native Costa Rica, sending money for food, medicine, clothing and other living essentials.
“I am always looking for opportunities to help others. I believe in treating people with the respect that they deserve,” Lenore said.
