XWOMEN WALKINGX
Bear Crossing: Proceed carefully on Wilton Dr. this week. Eagle and Ramrod will be packed. Frontrunners is hosting a two-mile walk for queer women called Walkie-Talkie. Enjoy a casual stroll, meet someone new, then stop for a refreshment at Rebel afterwards. The Pride Center hosts something called “Tig Sip and Stroke” from 5-8:30 p.m. I’m not sure what it is, but that seems like a long time to stroke something. Steven Edgar croons during Spicy Fusion at The Well.
Dance at Arsht welcomes Miami City Ballet for Carmen on March 26 and 28.
Friday, March 27
STAND-UP COMEDY
Eagle goes all techno tonight with Supamessive with beats by Danny Verde. Tropics is debuting comedy stand-up tonight; five comics entertain for the dinner and a show package. It’s poker night at The Well.
Barbie Dream Fest takes place at the Convention Center this weekend. It’s all about Barbie and her friends.
Aventura Broadway Concert Series welcomes two-time Tony Award winner Norbert Leo Butz.
Saturday, March 28
A SULTRY SOUTH AMERICAN NIGHT
No, you have not gone south of the equator; however, SunServe’s “A Night at the Tropicana” gala is at The Venue and it’s Viva Brazil, with the goddess Liza Rodriguez, providing the beats in The Manor. Latinos Salud visits the Renaissance Festival in Deerfield Beach. Seth Breezy DJs at the Momentum at Eagle. They’re “Jammin’ at the Center” tonight. Again, not sure what it is, but it sounds interesting. If sending your Saturday afternoon kicking some gay balls sounds like fun, meet up with the kickball team at Mickel Park at 11 a.m.
Palm Beach Pride kicks off today with the festival in Bryant Park. Matteo Lane is at The Kravis for “We Gotta Catch Up!,” and Dance at Arsht welcomes Miami City Ballet for Jewels, March 27–29.
Sunday, March 29
BEFORE THE PARADE PASSES BY
Palm Beach Pride’s Parade is today. Folks start lining up at 8 a.m. and the parade steps off at 11 am, then heads over to Bryant Park, where you’ll find the festival already underway. E Gee Monroe provides the beats for Hip Hop stripping at Le Boy tonight. Chocolate City has happy hours until 9 p.m. tonight. Drag brunch is in session at Aquaplex, The Well, and Senor Frog’s.
The Betsy and Books & Books’ new monthly literary event series kicks off in The Betsy’s B Bar. The featured author will be Diana McCaulay, reading from her latest book, A House for Miss Pauline. One of the Caribbean’s most celebrated contemporary writers, McCaulay is a two-time Commonwealth Short Story Prize winner whose novels are known for capturing Jamaica’s beauty and complexity with honesty and depth.

Aquaplex goes Burlesque, starring Velvet Lenore and Damien Lenore’s hot patootie. At Rebel Wine Bar, it’s customer appreciation day. The Pride Center hosts Transinclusive group’s event tonight.
Wednesday, April 1
EVERYTHING BEAUTIFUL HAPPENS AT NIGHT
At 7 p.m. tonight, they’ll be passing out 100 bills to the first 100 people to show up at the rainbow manatee statue across from Wilton Manors City Hall. All you need to do to claim one is show up wearing a conical hat and Nikki Adams hosts Bingo in the nude at The Pub on the Drive. April Fool!
Latinos Salud Miami is having a full moon party at the beach. I’m sure there will be plenty of furgόnes de cola shining in the moonlight. While the Wilton Manors group will be attending a preview of Island City Stage’s new play, “Everything Beautiful Happens at Night”. The play’s official opening is tomorrow night. Daisy D hosts the amateur strip contest at LeBoy. Natasha Ricketts will blow you…away at Pitch Please at Alibi. Jennifer McClain hosts Jennifer’s Jukebox at Tap That.
