Kevin Scott Strouf has learned to find the joy in life, one day at a time.
As the former Regional Human Resources Director for Best Buy in the south, Strouf helped others reach their career potential. In the world of pageantry, he did the same.
Strouf began supporting his community and involvement in pageantry in 1987. After winning the title of Mr. Gay USA, he went on to perform, judge and serve on the Board of Directors for USA Pageantry for many years.
His management skills helped him create and start another successful pageant system, the National Pageantry in the 1990s, where he produced and directed Miss Gay National and Miss Gay National At Large. His titleholders included Tandi Andrews, Tommie Ross, Tasha Long, Tamisha Iman, Cezanne, Sierra Fox and Darcell Stevens.
Because of his pageant experience and expertise, he has served on the judging panels for every major pageant system in the country at the local, state and national levels. Most recently, he served as the head judge for the 2025 Mizz OUTSFL Pageant, where Velvet Lenore was crowned the winner.
Counting sobriety as a major life achievement, Strouf is dedicated to helping others achieve addiction free lives.
