Matteo Trisolini is an award-winning artist whose work appeared in high-end publications. He was born in Italy and currently lives and works in Wilton Manors. He owns Space Untitled, one of a group of art galleries that recently opened on North Dixie Highway near Five Points. He is also president of the Wilton Manors Art District.
“I was born and raised in the south of Italy, fell in love with photography and studied in Milan and in the New York City School of Visual Arts,” he said. “After graduating, I moved to NYC where I worked as a commercial photographer while exhibiting my work in galleries worldwide. I visited Wilton Manors about 20 years ago for the first time and immediately felt ‘at home.’ I cannot describe the feeling, I just knew I was home.”
Opened in June 2024, Space Untitled is a multifaceted art gallery and creative studio with a NYC vibe.
“About a year ago, when I opened Space Untitled Art Gallery, I realized that Wilton Manors already had sixteen creative spaces or art galleries. The Art scene was already there but was not organized. By launching the Wilton Manors Art District in February, we aim to put Wilton Manors on the map as a Culture and Arts tourist destination. By keeping our focus on offering quality cultural options, our audience will find us. All we need to do is to be intentional, selective and stay consistent with our standards when it comes to quality offerings.”
