Between global jaunts everywhere from London to Lagos to collaborations with Deep Dish & Carl Cox (among countless others), Nicole Moudaber has firmly put her stamp on dance floors across the globe. As she returns home to Miami for URGE Miami, Moudaber sat down with me for an exclusive chat. Grimal Grove remains a unique attraction and the only breadfruit grove in the continental United States. It's roughly two acres, founded by Adolf Grimal and later revived by Patrick Garvey and Josef Crosby in the 2010s, and remains devoted to preserving its tropical fruit trees and plants. The bipartisan U.S. House Ethics subcommittee found Rep. Cherfilus-McCormick guilty of 25 counts of misconduct. The charges say she funneled millions of dollars from federal relief funds into her campaign.

Nearly 90% of LGBTQ respondents say they feel safe in the South Florida city where they live — yet almost half believe safety for queer people has declined over the past five years.
