On April 24, Out South Florida quietly hit a milestone that’s anything but small: our 100th issue.
We’ll be honest—we were so busy covering the news, we almost missed it ourselves. But now that we’ve had a moment to breathe (and raise a glass), we want to shout it from the rooftops: We made it to 100!
Since our first issue, OutSFL has grown into a bold and beloved queer publication. We’ve celebrated drag queens and elected officials, covered protests and Pride festivals, and — most importantly — continued telling our stories even as far-right forces work to silence and erase us. Visibility matters. Our stories matter. In today’s climate, having a queer publication freely available across South Florida — in shops, cafés, and community spaces — is more than journalism. It’s defiance. It’s pride. It’s resistance.
Through it all, you’ve been with us — reading, sharing, cheering us on, and holding us accountable.
This milestone belongs to you — our readers, advertisers, contributors, and community. In an age when LGBTQ media is shrinking, reaching 100 issues isn’t just a milestone — it’s an act of defiance.
If you believe in what we do — amplifying LGBTQ voices, holding power to account, and keeping queer journalism alive — we invite you to support us. Your contribution helps pay writers, print papers, and preserve the stories that matter most.

Here’s to 100 issues behind us — and the next 100 just ahead.
With pride and gratitude,
