In 2016, I cast my first vote for Hillary Clinton a couple of days after my 18th birthday, confident in my beliefs. Seven years later, I found myself seeing a man who didn’t share any of them.

Misty Alicea has had a relationship with her body image that’s been shaped profoundly by her experiences as a transgender woman. She recalls feeling constrained by societal expectations placed on her at birth, which never aligned with her true self.
When the DEI programs of the University of Florida, and University of North Florida were shut down, they were met with student resistance and protests.
It is my belief that the most important part of sex is understanding your own body. Although sex is instinctual, and many have a basic understanding of intercourse, there is so much more to it than just penetration. On top of understanding your body, it is essential to understand the consequences. Sex can be fun and a great way to strengthen a relationship or, in my case, ruin the relationship I have with my own body.
