The flag went up anyway. On Tuesday, under a cloudy sky and steady rain, the Progress Pride Flag was raised at Miami Beach City Hall – its colors catching the wind just enough to suggest motion, if not defiance.

Grimal Grove remains a unique attraction and the only breadfruit grove in the continental United States. The bipartisan U.S. House Ethics subcommittee found Rep. Cherfilus-McCormick guilty of 25 counts of misconduct. The charges say she funneled millions of dollars from federal relief funds into her campaign.
