Angie Ovahness Pryce may not have won the top prize in the OutSFL Pageant, but she still considers herself a winner. "I was very proud of how I did," she says. "It's not easy going from category to category, especially when certain categories are not your strength. But I am proud of my performance and let people see who I am."
At the OutSFL Pageant, Camille Dior Love won the Marsha P Johnson Award, which was named for the trans activist and icon. “It was a privilege that my peers thought highly of me,” Love says. “I like the mission of volunteerism and philanthropy.”
Erika Norell is a performing institution. She's marking a milestone this year – celebrating 30 years of performing, and South Florida audiences are the better for it.
