I’ve been up in Chicago for a couple of weeks getting my fix of the chow I can’t get in SoFlo (pan pizza, Italian beef sandwiches, Maxwell Street Polish, a decent banh mi, good Indian food) and while I’ve been gone my inbox has filled up with all kinds of dining news I need to share.
TacoWa in Boca Raton is part traditional Korean restaurant, part fusion and all of it is interesting, I just wish it was more exciting.

Bagels & Co. in Wilton Manors has announced that a portion of sales of its rainbow bagels sold during Pride Month will benefit The Pride Center at Equality Park and Our Fund. The neighborhood café also will be serving free coffee from 7-10 a.m. on Pride Day, Friday, June 28.
In the blandly named Carriage Hills Plaza in Davie, at 6451 Stirling Rd., a small mall is filled with Asian restaurants and stores that are a culinary delight.
