Chocolate and fruit, are such a delicious pairing (although I consider chocolate a fruit — it grows on trees, right?) and Papageno’s is going to explore it with bubbles and port, of course, in a class on Thursday, March 20 beginning at 6 p.m.

Taste seven amazing chocolates, all paired with bubbly or port for $25 a person. For more information, go to papagenoswap.com, or better yet, stop in the shop at 1201 N. Federal and see how wonderful the store is.

Las Olas Blvd. Sixty Vines' innovative and eco-friendly wine-on-tap program provides guests with the closest “from the barrel” tasting experience.

Pisco Disco

Debuting Thursday, March 6, and continuing the first Thursday of every month Pisco Disco, at Jarana Peruvian Cuisine & Pisco Bar in Aventura, will transport guests back to the golden era of disco, funk, and retro beats. The bar and lounge will transform into a throwback oasis, complete with vinyl-spun sets from the resident DJ, staff in retro attire, and a curated menu of inventive pisco cocktails. To kick things off, the inaugural Pisco Disco will feature a two-hour complimentary open bar with retro-inspired Caravedo Pisco cocktails.

How About A Little Sugar Cane?

The brainchild of a quartet of Miami food and beverage veterans, including Michelle

Bernstein and David Martinez, the duo behind several of Miami’s favorite hot spots including Cafe La Trova, Sweet Liberty, and the newly opened Sra. Martinez, La Cañita (which means little sugar cane) is a spirited restaurant and bar concept featuring a bold, flavorful menu of Latin Caribbean staples and innovative specialties. La Cañita serves cocktails and has a vibrant decor anchored by bright colors and lively music. In short, La Cañita is everything you’d expect from a venue that feels so definitively South Floridian.

Lending much flavor to the new year, the flagship location of this concept opened its doors in February at the Palms of Town & Country in the heart of Kendall.

Rosemary's Baby

The much-anticipated opening for Rosemary’s Miami has arrived! The beloved Italian neighborhood restaurant from New York City is now open in the heart of Wynwood (322 NW 25th Street). The brainchild of Casa Nela hospitality group founder/owner Carlos Suarez, Rosemary’s Miami is a bit of a homecoming for the Cuban-English restaurateur, whose family called Miami home for close to 20 years. “The foundation of Rosemary’s concept is comfort, a space to step out of your busy life for a moment and enjoy delicious food at affordable prices in a place that evokes the feel of the Italian countryside.”
