There’s something about the holidays that makes us crave a little extra magic, the kind that sparkles and lets you forget the outside world for just a moment.
One easygoing evening, my husband Sebastian and I made our way to Bokamper’s Sports Bar & Grill in Fort Lauderdale, a spot we’d heard plenty about but had never experienced together and I was eager to write about. The restaurant sits directly on the Intracoastal, and the shift in atmosphere is immediate the moment you walk toward the entrance.
This holiday season, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood invites guests to “Hard Rock the Holidays” with a light show spectacular at The Guitar Hotel featuring more than two million LED lights, dazzling displays, and unforgettable experiences from Saturday, Nov. 29, through Saturday, Jan. 3.
Let’s be honest, by the time you buy all the ingredients, you could have dined out on Thanksgiving Day for less than it costs to prepare the meal. Sure, you won’t have the leftovers to nibble on for days but look at it this way: you won’t have the leftovers to nibble on for days. You also won’t have all the prep and clean-up. Some of the options I’m listing here are high-priced splurge options, but you’ll be surprised by just how affordable some restaurants are on Thanksgiving.
