After a hectic few weeks filled with work and life responsibilities, I was craving some quality time with a couple of my closest friends. So, when I received an invitation to check out OL’ Days in Fort Lauderdale, I immediately thought, "This is the perfect place for a girls’ night."

After texting Christiana and Meagan and our evening was set. It was great to finally get the chance to go check out this gem, especially after a few delays. And, it was a miracle that we could even get together on a Friday, especially with our busy daily lives.

Tucked inside an office building right off Las Olas Boulevard, OL’ Days might not catch your eye at first glance. I admit that we went in a few circles trying to find the dining spot. Then again, my husband does make fun of the fact that I, at times, get lost. So, it might be easier for you to find it!

Once you step inside, you’re transported into a space that feels both peaceful and thoughtfully designed, a little sanctuary that invites you to slow down, catch up, and enjoy life’s simple pleasures.

A Warm Space That Feels Like Home

The minute we walked in, the atmosphere wrapped us in comfort. The space combines natural elements like warm brick, terracotta tones, and soft lighting with a dash of Argentinian flair, thanks to the murals by artist Florencia Chedufau and the family-inspired decor.

Despite its business district location, the café feels far removed from the bustle, like a cozy corner you want to curl up in for hours.

The vibe was perfect for our evening: relaxed, welcoming, and just what we needed to reconnect.

The menu was also extremely tempting, and the café is the type of place that you can visit all day, anytime of day, from breakfast time to dinner time.

Wine, Cheese, and All the Catching Up

Though OL’ Days is well known for its specialty coffee and comfort food, this time around, we decided to lean into the wine bar side of things for dinner.

We each ordered a glass of crisp white wine, which arrived beautifully chilled, and paired it with the cheese board, a delicious selection of cheeses, crackers, dried fruits, and spreads that felt both indulgent and just right for sharing.

No one rushed us as we enjoyed our food, sipped our wine and enjoyed our conversation. From funny stories to honest updates, it was one of those nights that reminded me just how necessary it is to find some time with friends, a time that we sometimes forget to plan during our busy days full of many responsibilities.

There’s something magical about laughing with your best friends over a glass of wine and a perfectly curated board. Also, the menu offers some amazing dishes, from handheld items such as sandwiches, main dishes such as their delicious salmon and refreshing salads to choose from.

We recommend coming by with a group and pick a few things to share, so you can try out as much as you can of what the restaurant offers. You will not regret this decision, trust me!

Final Thoughts: A Place Worth Coming Back To

Even though we didn’t try the coffee this time (I’ve got my eye on the Wow Choco and house-made almond milk lattes), we all agreed: we’re coming back.

The all-day brunch menu includes options like Cauliflower Hearttopped with brie and honey, the Wagyu burger on brioche, and Chipas, a traditional Argentinian cheese bread that’s calling my name for next time.

There’s also a fun selection of wellness drinks, teas, seasonal offerings like Blue Mylk, and house-made sweets, including everything from lemon pistachio cookies to dulce de leche alfajores, making this café one where you can find something yummy and new every time you visit.

If you’re looking for a space that feels a little like home and a little like a quiet vacation in the middle of the city, this is your sign. I already know we’ll be back.
