
Before he became one of San Francisco’s premier press agents, Lee Houskeeper was just another 20-something in New York City. It was there in the sweltering humidity of the Lower Manhattan summer, in 1969, that he witnessed the Stonewall riots.

And in Florida, 2,935,330 people are facing hunger, including 819,940 children. This is higher than the share of people facing hunger nationwide. (Feeding America.) In a country with 813 billionaires, these numbers are astonishing.
A national repository for historic medical information has added the website of a San Francisco health clinic focused on transgender patients to its collection. It is part of the newly created Sexual and Gender Minority Health web archive that is gathering LGBTQ health resources to preserve them in perpetuity.
