Call it America’s true Independence Day. Juneteenth, celebrated annually on June 19, marks the day that news of emancipation finally reached the last slavery-infested corners of the traitorous south after the end of the Civil War.
In a recent story about parking, The Gazette wrote: “Parking spaces in Wilton Manors are somewhat scarce and, unless you’re at the Shoppes of Wilton Manors by 4 p.m., rarely free.”
