Miss Richfield 1981 brings her new show, “Bad Advice” to Sunshine Cathedral on Feb. 17. “Good advice is always annoying,” says Richfield. “But bad advice never is!”
The double meaning of “Fitting In” (Blue Fox), the title of writer/director Molly McGlynn’s second feature film, is a good place to begin this review. Because the main character Lindy (Maddie Ziegler) is a 16-year-old high school, the concept of fitting into the complex and often challenging social situations in which 21st century (or any century, for that matter) teenagers find themselves, the title has that covered with no problem.
Mark Gilbert has been on the Board of the OUTshine LGBTQ+ Film Festival (formerly The Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival and the Fort Lauderdale Gay and Lesbian Film Festival) for the better part of 20+ years. In his early years, he put gay on the radio with a sponsorship for the film festival that said The Miami Gay And Lesbian Film Festival out loud and proud all day and night.
Larry Buzzeo is originally from Stamford, Conn. where he began his theatrical obsession at the age of 25.
