Homosexual Heritage

With Wilton Drive in a perpetual state of flux, one group is trying to keep continuity in the LGBTQ community. Wilton Drive Voice is focused on making sure the next chapters of the city grow the LGBTQ vibes.

Compared to places like The East Village, Fire Island, and San Francisco have been LGBTQ Meccas a lot longer than Wilton Drive. Led by Jude Bellanger, WDV is pushing a plan used by other cities to maintain LGBTQ heritage.

WDV holds several events a year which allow the public to hear from and question local leaders. They keep a close eye on plans for The Drive’s future.
