Princess (ID 715645) is a beautiful 3-year-old black and brindle Lab mix who came to us from another shelter and is now looking for her forever home.
She has a sweet, friendly personality and a calm, balanced nature that makes her a joy to be around. Princess enjoys being petted and will happily come over for affection. She is currently with a foster family and here is what they shared about Princess:
She is the definition of a Velcro dog — for both me and my wife. She will not let us out of her sight. If I'm on the couch, she is in my lap. She craves affection and attention. She is quick to drop and show you her belly, and she is a great manipulator! She learns FAST and has mastered sit and the word "no".
When she wants to go outside, she walks over to her harness and leash and will even "grab" your hand. She likes to nibble to get what she wants; some people may be put off by this, but it's one of her traits. She is definitely a shepherd, maybe a cattle dog mix.
Regarding dogs, she has met 5+ dogs in our neighborhood. While she stares at them, she has no reaction. In fact, in the past week, the only time she has growled was when she saw her own reflection in the sliding glass door.
Princess likes to explore her surroundings at her own pace and is naturally curious and enjoys taking in the world around her. An added bonus is that Princess appears to enjoy water and has happily dipped her legs into the pool. Overall, she has a wonderful temperament and carries herself with quiet confidence. Princess would do well in a home looking for a loving, affectionate dog who enjoys companionship and adventure. She is ready to start her next chapter with a family who will cherish her and give her the loving home she deserves.
