Pets | Cooper: A Friendly and Playful Fellow

Cooper via The Humane Society of Broward County.

Handsome Cooper (ID 678823) doesn’t understand why he is at the Humane Society of Broward County.

This polka dot fellow is 6 years old and lived with his owner for the past 1 ½ years. They had a baby and now don’t have the time or resources to devote to Cooper, so he needs to find another family to love. Could you be the one for him? Cooper is good with small dogs but will chase cats and iguanas that are in the yard. He is very friendly and has a lot of energy, so an active family will be best for him. Cooper is house-trained, likes chew toys, and might do best in a home where there are not a lot of loud noises. Being in a shelter with lots of noises is stressful for him, so he needs to find a home where he can be given time to relax and settle in. Do you have room in your heart and home for him? Thanks to the 2024 VCA Walk for the Animals committee, they have kindly paid for Cooper's adoption fee. He just needs someone to give him a chance.

To meet Cooper, or any other pet, visit www.humanebroward.com and complete the pre-adoption application and then stop by. The adoption kennels at the Humane Society of Broward County open daily at 11 a.m. and if you have any questions call 954-989-3977 ext. 6. The shelter is located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312.
