October is “National Adopt an Adult Dog Month” and “Pit Bull Awareness Month” and our featured dog fits into both of those categories.
Meet Harley (ID 706062) a 4-year-old gal who was given up because the landlord said no pets. This 68-pound beauty is good with kids and dogs, but just never lived with felines, however she will chase ducks. She's crate trained, playful, knows some basic commands, and loves to be with people. She needs durable chew toys and a family who will spend time with her. Do you have room in your heart and home for Harley? Thanks to Dolly’s Dream, they have kindly paid her adoption fee, and she gets to go home with goodies, and treats, to help her settle into her new home.
To meet any of our pets, please fill out a pre-adoption application at www.humanebroward.com and stop by to meet them. The Humane Society of Broward County is located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL and opens daily at 11 a.m. If you have any questions, please call 954-989-3977.
