The Humane Society of Broward County is inviting the community to spend an evening with some very special VIPs during its first-ever Fall Mixer – VIP After Dark, taking place Friday, October 2 from 6–8 p.m.
For one evening, the shelter will remain open after regular adoption hours, giving guests an opportunity to mix and mingle with members of the local community while meeting our VIP adoptable dogs and cats looking for loving homes.
Our VIP Pets will have their adoption fees waived during the event (a $25 processing fee will be applied) and will head home with special goodies. Guests who adopt a pet during the Fall Mixer will also have their name entered into a drawing for the chance to win prizes.
The event is designed to shine a spotlight on pets currently waiting for homes while offering the community a fun and relaxed way to experience the shelter after hours. Every adoption also creates valuable space at the Humane Society of Broward County, allowing the shelter to help another animal in need.
