Blair is a LGBTQ media pioneer, Executive Director of the Community Media Advocacy Network, and Publisher of Hotspots Magazine and Perks Plus VIP community mobile APP. He lives in Fort Lauderdale with his partner, Brian Neal. A Fort Lauderdale, Florida native.

I attended the recent Miss Florida F.I. pageant at the Venue on Wilton Drive. In the midst of oncoming hurricane Milton and the awful weather that we had, the event was still an amazing success for celebrating our trans and drag community along with the men in our community who competed for Mr. Florida.
Commercial rents continue to increase throughout Wilton Manors and Fort Lauderdale in a substantial way over the past several years. Clearly, it has become more difficult for aspiring entrepreneurs to open and create solid successes with businesses on Wilton Drive.
In 1984, I was a 19-year-old rising tennis star with a huge secret. I was competing at the USTA national tennis center in New York, home of the U.S. Open tennis championships. I was competing at the United States Olympic tennis trials. My number one goal was to make the 1984 Olympic team, being held in Los Angeles.
