Bella Ramsey talks about falling in love during the filming of "The Last of Us," a trans model fights against government transphobia, and Kadiff Kirwin will star in season two of "Doctor Who."
Bella Ramsey Is Neurodiverse And In Love
In an interview with Vogue, nonbinary actor Bella Ramsey revealed they were “properly in love” for the first time during filming “The Last of Us.” Ramsey stars as Ellie in the post-apocalyptic drama.
Fans of “The Last of Us” will meet Dina, played by Isabela Merced, Ellie’s new friend and love interest.
Ramsey was playing a character in love while being in love themselves during the filming of season two and said, “Experiencing that while I was filming the show was really special.”
Ramsey also revealed they were diagnosed with autism during filming season one.
“My experience of moving through the world is as an autistic person… There’s no reason for people not to know,” said Ramsey.
Model Fights Against Gov’t Transphobia

Transgender model Alex Consani was interviewed by Harper’s Bazaar about the executive orders targeting trans rights by President Donald Trump. This includes the government recognizing only two genders and forcing people’s passports to state their sex at birth.
Consani believes it is “scary” to see the Trump administration targeting her community and “the kids that are helpless to any of this.”
Consani is using her platform to amplify the trans community regardless of backlash and to call for change against attacks towards the trans community.
“Even in the face of such negative policies, we’re able to recognize that us as a community can’t be affected,” said Consani. “We’re never going to go away. We’re never going to go away.”

Actor Kadiff Kirwan, who stars in “Slow Horses” and “Black Mirror,” is set to join the second season of “Doctor Who.”
Kirwan will appear in an “intergalactic escapade” episode written by trans author Juno Dawson of the series returning on April 12.
“I feel elated to be joining the rich legacy of actors who have guest-starred in Doctor Who,” said Kirwan in a statement. “Russell T Davies and Juno Dawson have truly outdone themselves with this episode in what I can only describe as an intergalactic gargantuan extravaganza. It’s packed with gravity-defying mastery beyond imagination, and being a part of it is an absolute dream. Strap in Whovians, this one is gonna rock your world.”
Earlier this year, Dawson said the episode she wrote was set to be the “most ridiculous” and “most expensive” episode of the series to date.
“We’re so lucky in Cardiff to open the doors to world-class talent, and it’s been a riot, getting to work with Kadiff,” said Davies. “I’ve loved his work on TV, and stage for a long time, so when we realised he was available and happy to come on board, that was truly a great day in the office.”
