Lady Phyll says she will be leaving X, Madonna encourages the LGBTQ community to not give up the fight, and Troye Sivan plays a new Grindr ad campaign.
Lady Phyll Announces She Is Leaving X
Phyll Opoku-Gyimah, also known as Lady Phyll, announced she would leave X because the platform had become a “breeding ground for hate, disinformation, and the silencing of marginalised voices.”
The celebrity is not the first to leave X due to rising hate speech.
“The dismantling of content moderation has allowed hate speech to run rampant, while those calling out oppression are punished for speaking truth,” said Lady Phyll. “I refuse to stay in a space that actively works against the very voices it once helped to uplift.”
Lady Phyll will join Bluesky, a platform that bans harassment based on gender identity or sex.
“[The] fight for equity, justice, and liberation doesn’t stop – it just finds new spaces to thrive,” said Lady Phyll.
Madonna Says ‘Don’t Give Up The Fight’

Madonna is standing up for the LGBTQ community by opposing President Donald Trump’s homophobic agenda through Executive Orders.
The orders include bans on trans people entering the military and gender-affirming care for anyone under 19. The President also issued a proclamation that the government will officially recognize only two sexes: “male” and “female.”
The Trump Administration also froze federal grants for nonprofits and has issued several anti-immigration policies that have been branded as “unconstitutional.”
“It’s so sad to watch our new Government slowly dismantling all the Freedoms we have been fighting for and WON over the years,” said Madonna on X. “Don’t give up the fight!”
Troye Sivan Plays Game In Grindr Campaign

In a new Grindr ad campaign, Troye Sivan, alongside his dancers from the Something to Give Each Other tour, played the “tap or block” game where you tap for something you like and block for your “icks.”
The dancers said “hotel sex” is an absolute yes, saying they would be “celibate for seven months” without it due to being on tour.
Other taps included solid foreplay, good and consistent communication, and satin pillowcases.
Body hair? Apparently, it's a tap and a block, depending on who you ask. Sivan explained that “super hairy” guys are “kind of hot,” and his ick is when you can tell “somebody’s shaved all over” while other dancers tapped and some said block.
Showing your genitals next to a Coke can? Block. The performers agreed that showing “scale” in a nude is “performative.”
The campaign brings a new perspective to Grindr, which has been previously seen as “toxic” by Medium and several other platforms and celebrities.
“I love how Grindr and this campaign [celebrates] all of this with humour, honesty, and through community,” said Sivan. “It’s refreshing to show these conversations in an authentic way.”
