Chappell Roan to Raise Funds for AIDS Prevention with Elton John
Elton John’s annual Academy Awards viewing party will take place on March 2, and Chappell Roan is set to perform.
“David and I are thrilled to gather with friends and supporters once again, and we’re honored to welcome the bold and authentic Chappell Roan as this year’s performer, whose artistry embodies the power of music to inspire change,” said John via a press release.
The party is hosted via John’s AIDS Foundation and raised $10.8 million last year and over $115 million since its inception in 1992.
“Today, as AIDS still claims a life every minute, that spirit fuels our mission to end the epidemic by standing against stigma and ensuring equal access to care,” said John.

On Jan. 5, at the 2025 Golden Globes, Cooper Koch and Stuart McClave made their red carpet debuts and showed off their love.
“He’s just got me so grounded and pulls me down to the earth and holds me when it’s a lot,” said Koch. “He’s been so supportive and sweet, and he’s been the best partner I could ask for.”
Koch “gushed” to Entertainment Tonight about McClave at the event, even though they tend to keep their relationship private.
“It’s very easy to do that — be the best partner to Cooper. He’s so sweet!” said McClave.

Michael Jackson’s queer daughter, Paris, shared a montage on Instagram on Jan. 7 that revealed she had an addiction.
“I’m PK, and I’m an alcoholic and a heroin addict,” said Jackson.
The post commemorates five years of being free from alcohol and drugs.
“It’s because I’m sober that I get to smile today,” said Jackson. “I get to make music. I get to experience the joy of loving my dogs and cat. I get to feel heart break in all its glory. I get to grieve. I get to laugh. I get to dance. I get to trust. I feel the sun on my skin and it’s warm. I’ve found that life keeps happening regardless of whether I’m sober or not but today I get to show up for it.”
