The Orchid Key Inn is a boutique hotel in the heart of Old Town Key West. The bar at the establishment wins Best Bar in Key West.
“We are an award-winning, adult only, guest service orientated inn,” said General Manager Trudy Bowden.
“We are proud and honored to be recognized for this award, a consequence of the passion and hard work of the orchid team.”
The building was built in 1952 and called the Key Lodge Motel. In 2008 the property underwent a complete overhaul renovation – keeping its historic elements while bringing it into the current century.
The Orchid bar was added in the 2008 renovation.
“It has steadily become recognized as a popular local spot with a great reputation for its craft cocktails and revolving doors wine list with some of the best mixologists on the island,” she said.
