Pickleball is all the rage.
That’s why Rainbow Sports League is hosting its first ever Rainbow Rally Pickleball Tournament on April 6.
Rainbow Sports League is an LGBTQ organization that aims to offer safe and inclusive athletic opportunities for people of all skill levels.
The one-day tournament will be held at Hagan Park Courts in Wilton Manors. Registration costs $30 per player, and the signup deadline is on March 26. You can sign up as a team or as an individual.
It’s a single-elimination tournament, with matches determined by the best two out of three games. There are also divisions based on skill level: Men’s Intermediate, Men’s Competitive, Women’s Intermediate and Women’s Competitive.
The tournament starts at 8 a.m. If you play and don’t win, you won’t walk away with nothing. All players will receive a Rainbow Sports League string bag, water bottle and a DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) rating with the league.
There will be an awards ceremony for the top three players/teams at Sponsor Bar.
