Ever wish you could have a hangover without regrets from the night before? Rainbow Sports League has something even better.
The league is hosting a fall “beer olympics” on Oct. 25 to benefit SunServe. Getting tipsy and having fun is part of supporting the local charity.
It costs $10 to sign up individually and $50 for a team of five. Games include beer pong, flip cup boat race, dizzy izzy, and quarters. Finalists will compete in an obstacle course. Games run from 6-8 p.m. at LIT Bar, and all proceeds go to SunServe.
The event is more than just raising money. Rainbow Sports League is accepting donations of non-perishable food items. Teams that bring in items can receive extra points prior to starting the games –– three points for every 20 non-perishable items brought in. These donations will go directly to SunServe, who will distribute the items to community members in need.
If you want to support the cause without the buzz, a charity bar will be present at the event, where 100% of proceeds will be donated. There will also be giveaways and a dunk tank.
