The Florida Storm FC soccer team wants to go to Spain for the 2026 Gay Games and they need your help getting there. There will be a fundraiser and pool party on Sunday, Sept. 21 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Fort Lauderdale.
“For over 25 years, Florida Storm FC has been more than a soccer team — it’s been a symbol of pride, resilience, and excellence in the LGBTQ+ sports community,” Board President Seth Wilson said. “They’ve set the standard as one of the premier gay soccer teams not only in the United States, but around the world. On September 21, 2026, Florida Storm FC kicked off their fundraising journey, uniting friends, family, and supporters to help the team represent South Florida on the global stage at the Gay Games in Valencia, Spain next year.”
The suggested donation is $45. There will be food, beverages, a raffle, silent auction and more.
