It’s not too late to jump into some spring leagues with Pride Sports Fort Lauderdale.
Though a few leagues have already started play, registration for dodgeball, volleyball and spades are still open.
Pride Sports Fort Lauderdale is a South Florida LGBTQ sports league that is dedicated to bringing the community together through a variety of athletic opportunities.
The organization will be offering 4v4 and 6v6 volleyball leagues, and registration for both closes on April 3.
Play for 4v4 volleyball starts on April 7, and all matches will be held at Mickel Park from 7-9 p.m. Registration costs $75 for the season lasting through May 12. This league is for advanced players.
Matches for 6v6 volleyball started on March 24, but if you sign up now you can play through the end of the season on May 12. Registration costs $65. Games will also be held from 7-9 p.m. at Mickel Park. This league welcomes beginners, so it’s a perfect fit if you’re looking to train yourself up in the sport.
If physical activity isn’t your speed, there will be a spades 4 match on April 12. Registration costs $25, and you must sign up by April 10. The game will be held at the LIT Bar in Wilton Manors.
