This week, Craig Jungwirth has been sending out promotions for an upcoming Fireman’s Ball. Like his promotions of the Beach Bear Weekend – this is yet another fake event, designed to troll people and potentially scam them.
The fake event is “sponsored” by Georgie’s Alibi and benefits Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue 16 and The Guardians of the Island City (a fake organization).
One of Jungwirth’s victims said: “One of his annual imaginary events that he gets amped up about each year, sometimes in Fort Lauderdale and other times in Orlando – the same weekend as Gay Days / Splash.”
Jungwirth’s continued harassment of local people and organizations is slowly catching up to him. Jungwirth was arrested in Okeechobee County on a misdemeanor stalking charge last month, but quickly bonded out. He has his first court date May 13 in Broward County for that charge. It’s likely he won’t show up, and if that’s the case, I urge Judge Melinda Brown to issue another warrant for his arrest.
Another victim has filed a restraining order against him. The first hearing for that took place April 25, but Jungwirth did not show up. The next hearing for that is May 22.
