Stephen Tendrich is a Native Floridian born into a deaf family. He is now a Broker Associate with Atlantic Properties International.
“[I have] become a trusted advisor known for my integrity and unwavering commitment to client satisfaction,” Tendrich said. “My expertise and genuine care for the community make me a standout figure in South Florida real estate.”
Before he was a realtor, Tendrich worked as a mixologist and radio personality in both New York City and Florida, a certified baker based in Brooklyn, and an American Sign Language instructor.
Though Tendrich’s resume is quite impressive, he is best known as the founder of the Pink Nail Society, a group created to increase awareness about prostate cancer. In 2014 Tendrich’s life changed when his father was diagnosed with the disease. Even after undergoing prostate removal surgery the senior Tendrich continued to feel “less than a man” because of his condition.
“I then decided to paint my pinkie pink to prove to my father that I am still a man with a little nail polish,” Tendrich said. “The goal was to give him confidence that life can go on! It worked! He recognized my support and little by little, gained confidence. For a few years, Dad used to hang out at a local coffee shop and paint others’ pinkies pink to raise awareness in prostate cancer and health.”
In his private life, Stephen Tendrich is married to his husband John.
“My hobbies are raising freshwater fish in our 10-gallon aquarium, exercising, reading, and traveling to refresh my soul,” Tendrich said.
To this day, Stephen continues to paint his pinky fingers pink and so does his father.
