Winning this award is more than just a humbling moment for Our Sister’s Place Thrift Store –– it’s an opportunity to carry on its mission of supporting those affected by domestic violence.
“This recognition will help us to continue serving individuals impacted by domestic violence through the spotlight OutSFL has shined upon our organization,” Executive Director
Robert Cole said. “It allows people to know that they are not alone when facing domestic violence.”
Cole said Our Sister's Place provides advocacy services for individuals impacted by domestic violence by assisting clients with emergency housing, transportation, food, gasoline, clothing, household items, furniture and other living necessities.
The organization has served Palm Beach County for more than 20 years.
In order to achieve this goal, Cole said the organization is always accepting new volunteers. Visit www.oursistersplace.org for more information.
