SuperCon is back again this year conducted by ReedPop. At the Miami Beach Convention Center from June 30 to July 2, you’ll find the largest anime/cosplay/video game/board game/and more convention all year in South Florida. Confirmed guests include stars from Buffy the Vampire Slayer & Supernatural. Plus, plenty of events, artists, and exhibitors for you to occupy your time with.
Some events include The Supercon Championship of Cosplays, MyGeekGlory Nerdlesque Show (18+), & the Cowboy Bebop Live Tribute featuring a big-band’s 90-minute show playing what has been dubbed as “the best repertoire of the anime soundtrack.”
Florida SuperCon will even have a Pride Lounge featuring the following organizations: Care Resource, PRISM, FIU Pride Center, Triple Threat Kosplay, The McKenzie Project, TransSOCIAL, and SunServe.
In the Pride Lounge will be a LGBTQ tabling and gaming area and Wellness Linkage Center. Each of the organizations will be doing outreach in order to provide a safe queer space for all those who want it while enjoying the board, video, and card games provided. Are you the master of Mario Kart? The Supreme Smash Brother or Street Fighter? Good at Guilty Gear? Show off your skills on Saturday’s tournaments with free entry and amazing prizes.
Is Dungeon & Dragons more your speed? All levels of skill are welcome for pickup, expert, and epic level games all weekend. Magic: The Gathering Draft and Commander, Pokémon TCG, Digimon Card Game, and One Piece Case will also be represented in card game tournaments.
