Summer season is here, which means summer plans are essential. If you’re strapped for time but still want to get involved with the community and meet new people, Pride Sports has your back.
The LGBTQ-friendly organization is about to begin its summer dodgeball season, and there’s still time to sign up. Registration closes on June 2, which is the same date the season kicks off.
By signing up, you’ll be able to participate in weekly games every Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at Carter Park. The season lasts until July 21, making the overall time commitment minimal.
You can register independently or with a team, depending on the type of experience you want. The price to sign up is the same per player at $69. There’s no late fee, so you can take all the time you need to decide up until registration closes.
Pride Sports also hosts other sporting opportunities, including cornhole and volleyball, but dodgeball is the only summer sport with registration still open. All sports will likely return for fall seasons.
