Three years later, one thing is abundantly clear: none of this happens alone.

OutSFL may have our name on the masthead, but it has always been a community effort. Every issue, every newsletter, every story, every photograph, and every event is the result of dozens of people working together toward a common goal — serving South Florida's LGBTQ community.

To our editorial family, thank you for your words, wit, and wisdom.

John Hayden, our indefatigable Community Editor. Rick Karlin, who has been eating (and reviewing) his way across South Florida for years. Writers including John McDonald, Deon C. Jefferson, Aurora Dominguez, Denise Brown, Terry Schlichenmeyer, Gregg Shapiro, Kennedy McKinney, Larry Printz, David Nahmod, Michael Cook, Clinton Engelberger, Amancio Paradela, Mike Nemerof, Dooney Potter, Robert Cole, and Kevin Assam. (Apologies to anyone we've inadvertently missed — you're appreciated.)

Our visual team helps bring every issue to life. Designers Julie Palmer, Kyle Willis, Craig Tuggle, and Brendon Lies transform words into pages that inform, engage, and inspire. Photographers JR Davis, Carina Mask, Michael Cushman, and Stephen Lang capture the people, events, and moments that tell our community's story.

A special thank you to Edwin Neimann whose tireless efforts securing advertising support help make everything we do possible. Simply put, without advertisers, there is no OutSFL.

We're honored to publish journalism legend Steve Rothaus, even in his well-earned retirement. And on the other end of the spectrum, we're proud of student leaders Mary Rasura and Joey Mansour, whose work with OutFAU continues to demonstrate the importance of investing in the next generation of LGBTQ journalists.

Our columnists bring perspective, passion, and personality to every issue: Jesse Monteagudo, Brian McNaught, Sabrina Haake, John Porter, Cliff Dunn, and the duo of Terry Dyer and Rev. Skip Jennings.

A special thank you to Bobby Blair. When he returned to South Florida, he helped foster a spirit of cooperation among local LGBTQ media outlets. His encouragement, support, and commitment to collaboration have strengthened our entire community.

Our digital presence would not be possible without social media director Andrés Echavarria and Kim Swan, our webmaster, newsletter guru, and all-around problem solver.

Behind the scenes, Richie Wilson, Jonathan Rey, and Tyler Brayton help keep the paper moving. Chris Grobels manages the books. Russell Cormican keeps us legally sound. FlockFest, our fiscal sponsor, and Our Fund have provided invaluable support and partnership.

We're also grateful to Pier Angelo, co-founder of South Florida Gay News and now an OutSFL columnist and consultant. His guidance, perspective, and belief in our mission have meant more than he knows.

To those who have been part of our journey and moved on to new adventures — including Christiana Lilly, J.W. Arnold, Silvio Carvana  — thank you for helping build what OutSFL has become.

And of course, thank you to my business partner, Justin Wyse. None of this would have been possible without your partnership, determination, and belief in what we could create together.

Even beyond this list there are still more – the my husband and friends who lend their ears and support whenever needed.

Three years in, we're proud of what we've built. More importantly, we're grateful for the people who helped build it.

Thank you for believing in local LGBTQ journalism. Thank you for reading. Thank you for supporting us.
