He was an icon and an idol in the gay adult film industry. For the foreseeable future, he will merely be an inmate.

Justin Heath Smith, who performed under the name Austin Wolf, pleaded guilty to enticing a minor to engage in sexual activity. He faces 10 years to life in prison.

He made the guilty plea in federal court on June 20. The New York Post says he started sobbing during his allocution. 

“I induced a 15-year-old to engage in a sex act, I don’t remember through text or [social media], but phones were definitely used. I know what I was doing was wrong,” he said.

He’s already spent nearly a year in custody after being arrested on June 28, 2024.

His fate could have been much worse. Investigators raided his home in April 2024, and say they found hundreds of videos featuring minors, including at least one that appears to be a 10-year-old being violently and sexually abused.

Smith/Wolf will be sentenced on Sept. 9.
