When 5-year-old Grace arrived at the shelter, the clinic staff was not sure if she would survive.
Found as a 38-pound stray, with scars on her body, Grace was suffering from pyometra, an infection of the uterus. This can occur in girl dogs that are not spayed and if left untreated the dog could die. Fortunately for this chocolate-colored beauty, the shelter veterinarians performed emergency surgery and she pulled through. Happy Grace has gained some weight and LOVES to play with her toys. She is gentle, affectionate and needs a family who will spoil her and give her an amazing home and help her forget about her horrible past. Are you the one for her?
