Let’s be honest, by the time you buy all the ingredients, you could have dined out on Thanksgiving Day for less than it costs to prepare the meal. Sure, you won’t have the leftovers to nibble on for days but look at it this way: you won’t have the leftovers to nibble on for days. You also won’t have all the prep and clean-up. Some of the options I’m listing here are high-priced splurge options, but you’ll be surprised by just how affordable some restaurants are on Thanksgiving.

All four Lester’s Diners are open on Thanksgiving, and you can get a full meal with dessert for around $25. Caruso’s Courtyard Café will be open and will have a special menu, offering a choice of turkey breast, ham steak, salmon, or New York strip, all priced in the mid-$20 range, and that includes your choice of two sides and a slice of pie for dessert. Now you know you couldn’t beat those prices at home. However, if you want to splurge, here are some other options for dining out.

Burlock Coast at The Ritz-Carlton is offering a three-course family-style meal from 5 to 10 p.m. for $129 per adult. The meal features herb biscuits, fall greens, butternut squash soup, roasted turkey breast, confit leg, and thigh with sides. For dessert, enjoy roasted pumpkin pie or warm apple pie.

Salvo Osteria Romana, right in Wilton Manors, is offering a three-course $49.99 prix fixe with a choice of three appetizers, roast turkey, grilled salmon, or lasagna bolognese for an entrée, and a choice of pumpkin pie or tiramisu for dessert. Non-alcoholic beverages are included.

Pink Steak, in West Palm, offers a three-course feast for $99 per person. Begin with a choice of Wagyu beef tartare, pumpkin soup, or beet & burrata salad. Main course highlights include roast turkey with sides, or an eight-ounce truffle butter filet, sweet peas and mascarpone ravioli, or wood-grilled branzino. Dessert options include caramelized banana tiramisu, pumpkin cheesecake, or warm white chocolate matcha cake. For more information, visit PinkSteak.com.

Celebrate Thanksgiving with a Mexican-style feast at Lona Cocina & Tequileria for $40 per person.
