There are so many events during the holidays, and this year, when Hanukkah and Christmas coincide, it’s going to be even crazier.
Whether you’re hosting or attending events, you may need a holiday break from it all. Frosty's Hideaway at InterContinental Miami is an exclusive, limited-time underground Christmas pop-up drinking den that welcomes guests into a hidden winter wonderland. Open on select Friday and Saturday nights through Saturday, Dec. 21, Frosty’s will offer special holiday-themed cocktails in an intimate setting (limited to 12 guests per session). It’s $45 per person, and along with entry, guests receive one welcome cocktail and one seasonal cocktail. Make reservations at 305-577-1000. Or perhaps you just prefer to sip a seasonal beverage while you shop on the Internet.
Circle House Coffee in Flagler Village features a mix of festive hot, cold foam, tea, and cold-brewed beverages that promise to bring joy and extra cheer with every cup. Holiday highlights include eggnog latte, candy cane peppermint mocha latte, peppermint chocolate tea, candied orange Americano, pecan pie latte, and gingerbread cold foam cold brew.
CHRISTMAS EVE/DAY
If you and your family or friends prefer to dine out on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day there are several options available. Costa has planned an exquisite, farm-to-table Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner menu that will be available. Costa will also be open Christmas Day from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. serving its popular brunch menu. Runway 84 is celebrating in classic Italian style with a special feast of seven fishes family-style menu for $95 per person (with a minimum of four people), reservations are required. Also serving up the traditional Italian feast. La Fuga, in the Kimpton Shorebreak Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, offers its courses a la carte. Lefkes Estiatorio, in downtown Delray Beach, will offer Christmas dinner specials with a Greek twist from 4-10 p.m. on Christmas Day. The regular happy hour, dinner, and drink menus will also be available.
NEW YEAR’S EVE/DAY
New Year’s Eve is one of the hospitality business’s busiest times of the year, followed closely by New Year’s Day, so you’d better make your reservations soon if you haven’t already. If you plan on dining out before hitting the clubs here are what a few local places are planning. Boca Raton’s Corvina Seafood Grill is welcoming 2025 with “Shaken, Not Stirred: A Bond New Year’s Eve.” The James Bond-themed three-course prix fixe dinner will be accompanied by live jazz entertainment and a complimentary champagne toast, for $125 per person. Burlock Coast will have a prix fixe menu from 5:30-9:30 p.m., a live DJ, party favors, dancing, and a ball drop until 1 a.m. for $185 per person. Brunch the next day will include a “Recovery Bar” special featuring $39 bottomless Bloody Mary and mimosas, available until 4 p.m. Daniel’s, a Florida Steakhouse, is offering a prix-fixe experience at $195 per person. Lefkes Estiatorio, in downtown Delray Beach, special prix-fixe menu on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, from 4-11 p.m. with Mykonos-style DJs and entertainment starting at 9 p.m.
Lefkes’ New Year’s Eve menu will include a special three-course prix-fixe menu for $150 per person. Pink Steak, the swanky West Palm steakhouse prix-fixe menu, priced at $295 per person, includes a bottle of champagne per couple and the evening will include a live DJ spinning all the top tunes. The Katherine, serving its regular menu, will treat all guests to a complimentary glass of bubbles.
