Our news is free — but producing it isn’t. Writers, photographers, designers, delivery drivers — it all adds up.
Unlike many mainstream newspapers, we don’t charge for online access or offer paid print subscriptions. That’s by design. We believe our stories should be available to everyone, regardless of ability to pay.
But we also know many of you want to support our work — and now, there’s a way to do that while also helping a nonprofit you love.
If you’re considering making a larger donation to OutSFL, consider this: donate those funds to a local nonprofit and earmark them for advertising with us. It’s a win-win. You support a cause that matters to you, and at the same time, you help keep LGBTQ news alive and thriving.
Many local nonprofits — especially the smaller ones — don’t have extra funds to spend on advertising. Your gift can give them visibility, while also sustaining the work we do at OutSFL.
