Tucked into the heart of the ever-evolving Wynwood Art District, Selvatico is more than a venue — it’s an experience.

The moment I stepped inside, I was transported to a lush, jungle-inspired escape unlike any other in Miami. It’s a hidden away nook, one that is worth finding to spend the night dancing, having cocktails and nibbling on unique tapas. The brainchild of Ivette Naranjo, the mastermind behind Wynwood’s iconic Caféina, Selvatico offers a refreshing retreat where vibrant energy meets serene sophistication. Once it opened its doors, it created a buzz that is still around today, tempting revelers to come by for a visit.

Designed in collaboration with renowned interior designer Natasha Tellini Vontobel, the space feels like a living, breathing work of art. Once you walk in, you’ll feel like you’re in a secret retreat in a forest, a spot that you’ll only find if you know it’s there. Making it cozy, fun and comfortable. From earthy tones to vibrant greenery, every detail captures the essence of a jungle oasis. Walking through the indoor and outdoor areas, I found myself immersed in an environment where natural textures meet Wynwood’s signature edgy elegance. Interactive wall installations and cozy, verdant seating invite guests to linger and lose themselves in the ambiance, making it the perfect place to celebrate or simply unwind.

The atmosphere alone makes Selvatico unforgettable, but the heart of the experience lies in its expertly crafted cocktails.

Selvatico’s drink menu is an adventurous exploration of exotic flavors.

I tried the Tango with the Tiger, an inventive mix of Añejo Tequila, Licor 43, and blackberry syrup with the zesty tang of pomelo and pear juice — it was a bold, playful start to the evening. The Basil Bunny, made with Cachaça, fresh lychee, basil, and lime, offered a refreshing and unexpected twist. To finish, the Tamandua, a luxurious blend of Zacapa Rum, pistachio, mint, and lime, perfectly balanced richness and freshness.

Each cocktail is original and crafted to mirror the venue’s lush, adventurous vibe. And there’s also bottle service available, for those who choose to grab a bottle with their group and mix up their own drinks as they dance the night away.

Ivette Naranjo’s vision shines through every aspect of Selvatico. Known for pioneering Wynwood’s transformation into a cultural hotspot, Naranjo continues to push boundaries. From hosting celebrity events with the likes of Ricky Martin and Gloria Estefan to receiving a city proclamation for her contributions to Miami nightlife, her legacy is woven into the very fabric of Wynwood. Selvatico is a natural extension of her vision, offering a space where art, design, and culture converge.

As my friends and I soaked in the vibrant energy, it became clear that Selvatico isn’t just another bar — it’s a destination. Whether you’re looking for a night of celebration or a chic hideaway from the ordinary, Selvatico is a perfect choice.
