As part of “RuPaul's Drag Race” Season 17, Los Angeles-based queen Joella quickly became what can only be described as an "absolute sensation."

As the fifth episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 17 kicks off, Joella has departed the competition and while some of the queens seem shook at seeing her leave, others (Kori King and Acacia Forgot in particular) are not overly disappointed at seeing the self-appointed “Los Angeles icon” sashay away.

As Episode 4 kicks off, Arrietty and Suzie Toot are both visibly upset to see Lucky Starzzz be the first eliminated from the competition, which instantly puts Joella (the queen who sent Starzzz home via their Lip Sync For Your Life) on her heels about her own place in the competition.

As Episode 3 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 17 kicks off, Hormona Lisa returns to the Werk Room, “safe to slay another day” as RuPaul so aptly put it (she escaped elimination by pulling the correct lever to drop Michelle Visage into the Badonka Dunk tank).

We’ve gotten to witness half of the brand new “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 17 dolls deliver their best talent, and as they re-enter the Werk Room for Episode 2, Acacia Forgot is disheartened that not only is in the bottom, but she was the only one who took the chance to sing an original song live on stage. Conversely, Suzie Toot enjoyed her own toe-tapping soar to victory and received tremendous accolades from her fellow competitors.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” is back for Season 17 and it’s returning with a brand-new talented and dynamic cast, and plenty of twists and turns galore to keep both fans and the competitors, on their toes! Right off the bat, Episode 1 (the aptly titled “Squirrel Games”) shows a galaxy of drag performers playing the most gag-worthy game of Ru Light/Green Light you’ve ever seen.
