Marysol Patton will serve as the 2026 Grand Marshal of FLoatarama, the nation’s largest Pride-on-Water celebration on Saturday, June 13, along Fort Lauderdale’s iconic Intracoastal Waterway.

The Real Housewives of Miami has displayed her sharp wit and charm on the show, and it’s made her one of the series’ most recognizable personalities. She lives in Coconut Grove with her husband, Steven McNamara, and is known for her passion for philanthropy. The seventh annual FLoatarama will help raise critical funds for LGBTQ youth-serving organizations. Up to 500 celebrants will set sail aboard the Sun Dream Yacht Catalina for a two-and-a-half-hour brunch cruise featuring a live DJ, premium open bar, and high-energy entertainment. A waterfront Tea Dance will follow the voyage. Last year, FLoatarama awarded $160,000 in grants to 12 nonprofit organizations. Since 2021, the organization has distributed more than $410,000 to support vital services. Yacht Boarding begins at 10:30 a.m., and the yacht departs at 11 a.m. from Bokamper’s dock at 3115 NE 32nd Ave.

Tickets can be purchased at FLoatarama.org.

WE REMEMBER. WE HONOR. WE CONTINUE THE FIGHT.

Stonewall Museum, Library & Archives will host a reenactment of the Stonewall Riots for the third year on Sunday, June 28, at 4 p.m. The Annual Reenactment of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising is a living tribute to the night that changed the world. This immersive community event honors the courage of those who resisted oppression and demanded dignity, not with speeches or distance, but by placing ourselves inside the story. This reenactment has become one of Stonewall’s most powerful gatherings. People describe the experience as emotional, joyful, and transformative, a rare chance to embody the history we work so hard to preserve. It is not a performance; it’s a collective promise. It takes place at the Stonewall Museum, 1300 E Sunrise Blvd., Fort Lauderdale. You are invited to come as you are or dress like it's 1969!

Participation is free, but please sign up at stonewall-museum.org.

PRIDE COMES WITH A COST

This year, Wilton Manors’ Stonewall Pride, on Saturday, June 20, comes with an increased cost. Governor Despicable and his Republican cronies have made all DEI events off-limits, so the city is making a huge statement by even sanctioning the event. It is also not allowed to provide in-kind support. So the event must be self-sustaining. That means we’ll all have to chip in ten bucks at the gate, unless you’re feeling flush, in which case you pay for one of the VIP level tickets at $125 or $250! The $250 ticket gets you entry, 10 drinks, a dedicated lounge area with couches, free food, and air conditioning, plus luxe restrooms. Can’t afford the entry fee, offer to volunteer. Even after Pride, there are some fun events; learn to Vogue on June 25 - my knees are too old to duckwalk, but you go, girl!

Go to StonewallPride.lgbt for information or to volunteer.

PSSSST!

We’ve got a couple of deals for you. Use the code word EARLY when you buy your tickets for Cabaret, opening on June 14, at Empire Stage (EmpireStage.com), and you’ll get $7 off the ticket price.

Brévo Theatre is holding a Pride Night for The Color Purple on June 26 at the Pompano Beach Cultural Center, 50 W Atlantic Blvd., Pompano Beach. Use the promo code OUTTCP and get a discount on general admission and VIP tickets. Go to BrevoTheatre.org.
