Marcia Weaver, owner of Frita’s Cuban Burger Cafe, said being small doesn’t mean their food doesn’t pack a bite.
“We are a very small restaurant with very big flavors,” Weaver said. “It is because of our team that people not only love our food but our service as well.”
And that’s evident by the restaurant’s recognition by readers of having the best burger in Key West.
Weaver described their famous Cuban burger, which dates back to 1930s Cuba, as “a unique type of burger made of beef, pork and chorizo, with a little chopped onion and our housemade julienne potatoes on a Cuban bread roll.”
“It's different than your typical burger, so we are so happy that we stand out,” Weaver said.
Frita’s also offers live music and a famous Cuban sandwich.
