Hard Rock Cafe bartender Efrain R. said his job brought out a “new elevated version” of himself.
“Over a year ago, I took a big leap of faith and started working with the Hard Rock company,” Efrain said. “My community saw this new version of me, so to win this award proves to me that I am on the right path.”
Efrain didn’t know he was nominated until voting started as a friend had sent him the link to voting. He said learning about his nomination, let alone winning the award, was “extremely humbling.”
He said the only way to achieve greatness is to strive for it.
“Striving for greatness means trying to do your best in everything you do, and it can lead to success,” Efrain said. “It involves a commitment to continuous improvement, growth and challenging yourself.”
