Alberto Ravelo takes his craft seriously.
“Fashion isn’t just about fabric and stitches; it’s about weaving narratives that influence generations,” he explained.
Ravelo won Best Fashion Designer.
“Humility, sustainability, technology, and innovation—these aren’t just buzzwords; they’re the guiding stars of my compass,” he said “They steer my designs, my choices, and my ethos as a designer.”
At the beginning of the pandemic, Ravelo used his talents to make homemade masks.
“From the moment I embarked on my journey as a fashion designer, I understood the weight of our role in shaping societal norms. We’re not just designing clothes; we’re curating an atmosphere that defines elegance, comfort, and a sustainable ethos for the present and future.”
Besides fashion Ravelo also takes his civic duties helping with the City of Miami Beach Human Rights Commission and the Cultural Arts Council.
