Wilton Drive will become a runway for the spooky, spectacular and wonderfully strange when Wicked Manors returns on Halloween night.

The annual street festival takes place Saturday, Oct. 31, from 5 to 11 p.m., with this year’s theme, “Masquerade of Mayhem,” setting the stage for an evening of elaborate costumes, live entertainment, DJs and dancing.

Produced by The Pride Center at Equality Park in partnership with the City of Wilton Manors, the celebration doubles as the center’s signature fundraiser. Organizers say the event has attracted more than 40,000 attendees, with visitors coming from 48 states and 27 countries and territories.

Wilton Drive will be closed to traffic between Northeast 21st Court and North Dixie Highway at Five Points, giving costumed revelers room to stroll, socialize and show off their creations. Two entertainment areas — the Main Stage and North Stage — will feature performances and music throughout the evening. A costume contest will give participants a chance to put their Halloween handiwork in the spotlight.

Since its debut in 2007, Wicked Manors has grown into a Halloween tradition that brings residents and visitors together while raising money for community services.

“For nearly two decades, this unforgettable event has brought people together to celebrate authenticity and creativity,” said Robert Boo, CEO of The Pride Center at Equality Park, in a press release.

Proceeds support the center’s programs, including health and wellness resources, advocacy and community support services. Participating South Florida nonprofits also benefit through their involvement at the festival’s four entry points and VIP experience.

General admission is $17.71. For guests 21 and older, premium admission costs $46.47 and includes five official Wicked drink tickets, excluding gratuity. VIP admission, also for ages 21 and older, costs $145.51 and includes an air-conditioned indoor lounge, light bites and an open bar from 5 to 11 p.m.

The event is cashless at entry points and street bars. It takes place rain or shine, and tickets are nonrefundable.
