The Newton campaign reports spending $7,960. Most of the money comes from local donors. His advertising expenses were listed as $2,301.

Other expenses include $6,677 to producers of campaign-branded merchandise. The campaign also spent $637 for a laptop.

Beigay’s campaign reports $50 in donations and $1,662 in loans the candidate made to his campaign. He spent $1,662, mostly on promotional materials.

He also reports $545 from in-kind donations for his August kick-off party from several corporations or franchisees.
